How can I place an order?

You may place an order online on this website, by phone or by completing an order form and faxing it to us.

Is it safe to send my credit card information over the Internet?

Bentley & Smart uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), which encrypts private information (e.g. credit card number or password) before it leaves your computer and then decrypts the information when it reaches our Internet server. We also protect our servers with numerous firewalls and specialized hardware and software that control all external communications with our computer network. We constantly monitor these firewalls to prevent security breaches.

Is there sales tax on my Bentley & Smart purchase?

Sales tax is charged only on shipments to Pennsylvania.

Can I change or add to an order I already placed?

That depends on the item ordered and when you placed the order. Please be aware that some accessories and other items ship the next day and your order may have already left our distribution facility and, therefore, can’t be changed. We may be able to change your order on custom items, such as aprons, IF work at the factory has not yet begun. Please call us immediately and we will let you know if changes are possible.

How will my order be shipped?

All U.S. orders are shipped via UPS, except for larger items like radiation barriers and shelving that go by motor freight as noted on individual product pages.

Does Bentley & Smart ship to any country?

Yes, we can ship orders worldwide. Please note that shipping costs do not include import duties, taxes or tariffs. Such charges are not covered by Bentley & Smart, and the recipient is responsible for any and all customs fees.

Can my order be sent to an address different than mine?

Yes. Just complete the “ship to” and “bill to” sections accordingly.

How do I choose the correct size?

Must I order the same size vest and skirt?

No. You may order different sizes for the two pieces to create the perfect fit.

How can I test my apron or lead shield?

You should contact the Radiation Officer at your facility or your local hospital for proper procedures.

Is there a warranty on Bentley & Smart products?

Yes. All Bentley & Smart products have a warranty of 1 year from the date of shipment.

How do I dispose of my old apron or lead shield?

We work with the manufacturer to facilitate disposal of your used apron. Please contact us for details. Lead-free aprons may be disposed of in the trash with no restrictions.

What is Bentley & Smart’s return policy?

Most items may be returned or exchanged within 30 days of receipt if you are not satisfied for any reason. (We’re sorry, but monogrammed items, special requests and prescription eyewear cannot be returned.) To return an item, please contact us for a Return Authorization Number, which is required to receive a credit or make an exchange.

Are prescription lenses possible in all eyewear styles?

No. Some styles can’t hold lenses with a higher prescription. We recommend faxing us a copy of your prescription along with your order so we can notify you if there is a problem with your request. Please note that prescription eyewear cannot be returned.

Can monogramming be done on an apron I already have?

We’re sorry, but that’s not possible. Monogramming cannot be done after an apron is assembled because it would create holes in the protective material and destroy the protective qualities of the apron.
